From backstage to everyday life.
I began working as a makeup artist at 16. For the past 20 years, my career has taken me backstage at Fashion Weeks, onto international campaigns and Vogue covers, and around the world working with some of the most recognised names in fashion and beauty.
I’ve also spent thousands of hours doing something even more important: working closely with women and their faces.
It taught me that beautiful makeup isn’t about perfection or transformation.
It’s about harmony.

My fascination with silk never stopped with the pillowcase.
Years later, while developing my makeup line, I discovered a new generation of biotechnology-derived vegan silk ingredients designed for modern cosmetic formulations. It felt like a natural evolution of everything Dariia Day had always represented.
Today, Vegan Silk Technology™ is at the heart of our makeup collection, bringing the sensorial qualities that first made me fall in love with silk into a new expression of beauty. Our formulas combine professional makeup performance with a skin-conscious approach, creating creamy, lightweight textures designed to feel seamless and comfortable on the skin.

Our family atelier
Built on 35 years of family textile expertise and a background in beauty, we created Dariia Day in 2016. Our first product — a silk pillowcase — was designed not just as bedding, but as an essential nightly beauty ritual.
Today, our collection has grown to include silk pillowcases, eye masks, sleepwear, and accessories. Every piece is handcrafted in our family atelier in Poland using luxurious 25 momme Mulberry silk. For us, true luxury lies in exceptional materials, fine craftsmanship, and care you can feel.

Where my silk story began.
My philosophy of beauty has never stopped at makeup.
In 2013, while struggling with rosacea and extremely sensitive skin, I began looking more closely at everything that came into contact with my face — not only skincare and makeup, but also the fabrics I slept on every night.
That was when I discovered silk.
Sleeping on silk became an important part of my personal self-care ritual. I became fascinated by this extraordinary natural material — its softness, its smooth touch against the skin and hair, and the simple luxury of turning eight hours of sleep into a moment of beauty and care.
I wanted to create something of my own.
And I knew exactly who I wanted to create it with.
One universe. One philosophy.
